Training Status
Our next training mission is PLR 02-062 and begins on April 12. We have scheduled 10 hours of flying for this exercise and will be concentrating on basics and on getting new pilots qualified.
Northern Edge 2002 begins on April 20 and continues through May 2, 2002 and we are looking forward to joining in on the exercise. We will be letting folks know the schedule as we get confirmation.
Also, there is time scheduled for a CD Training Mission between April 20-27. Stay tuned for details on this mission.

State Search and Rescue Conference
The Alaska State Search and Rescue Conference will be held at Alyeska Resort from May 3-5, 2002. The subject of the conference is Avalanche Awareness. Registration is due no later than April 15.

Hangar, Hangar, Hangar
The hangar is up and looks great. Shortly the plane will be in a nice cozy place. No more frozen fingers from deicing the plane.Thanks goes out to all involved in making this happen. |
Meetings
All meetings are held Monday at 7:00 P.M. If you are interested in what CAP does stop by the Hanger/Trailer to see what we do. You do not need to be a pilot to be involved. CAP is always looking for people to observe, and work as ground crew. See you there.
